Levitation - Yes, the superhuman kind
It's fascinating to me that, as a concept, at some point, collectively, everyone has shared the same dream. We've all had "The flying dream." Whether to escape something or just to experience the act itself, it's a full-bodied sensation that we even occasionally carry into the waking world.
How can we know a sensation so vividly when it doesn't exist for us to experience while awake?
... I would argue that it's because it does exist and we can experience it.
Human Levitation isn’t new.
It’s been witnessed, recorded, and experienced across cultures for centuries. Mystics like Joseph of Cupertino were observed rising into the air during states of devotion, sometimes in front of entire congregations. Teresa of Ávila described similar experiences, her body lifting during deep prayer as a direct response to her connection with Source.
Understanding Reality as a Field
Our understanding of reality has evolved. We’ve moved from seeing gravity as a fixed force to recognizing it as part of a dynamic field, something relational, responsive, and woven into the structure of spacetime itself. When you start looking at reality this way, levitation is simply another way of relating to the field. Consciousness, intention, and heart-mind-body coherence. These are the ways we've achieved this state.
Creating New Agreements
I’ve been experimenting with lucid dreaming for quite a while now, and what stands out to me is how quickly the environment responds once awareness clicks on. The same principle applies here. We are constantly participating in the creation of our reality, individually and collectively. The more we bring levitation into awareness — talk about it, visualize it, practice the internal states that support it — the more we normalize it. And the more we normalize it, the more accessible it becomes. I strive to create this new subconscious agreement. And maybe you share my passion!
Practicing Levitation Together
If you feel called to explore this further, we’ll be meeting in Prescott to discuss the work of Steve Richards and his book "Levitation: What It Is, How It Works, How to Do It." The intention in this space will be to explore possibilities, read through his work, and practice these principles together.
