Bua

-Deep Healing and Restorative Yoga.
Thursdays at 9:00am - 10:00am.

-Gentle Vinyasa.
Fridays at 8:00am - 9:00am.

Bua’s yoga journey started in 2007, but she began diving into yoga seriously during 2014 while living in Washington State. In 2014, She trained 200 hours in original “Hot Hatha Yoga,” or as it is known “Bikram Yoga”. This practice is scripted and to be practiced in a heated room with humidity. It focuses on mindfulness while building physical strength, flexibility, and balance. That same year, Bua also trained 200 hours in Vinyasa. This style of practice promotes strength along with synchronizing breath with each pose and developing fluidity, an energetic body, and relaxation. It can be scripted or freestyle in practice. In 2015, Bua trained 50 hours in Yin style. This yoga style benefits dense tissues like fascia, bone and joints. It can also help to open the energy meridians known as “chakra.” The practice is to elongate and compress the muscles by holding each pose still for a certain time. The practice requires practitioners to use complete relaxation in their mind and body. This can be done by using props, as many as a practitioner wants, for the best result and outcome. When Bua moved to Phoenix in 2021, she received an opportunity to train and become certified as an intensive Barre Instructor.

With a peaceful mind, Bua likes concentrating on muscle movements as a vehicle for finding the range of motion in her personal yoga practice and when teaching.

A few of Bua’s teachers said she is a curious student who is always passionate about learning. It’s proven true as she has explored other styles of yoga such as Kundalini, Sculpt, Power, Ashtanga, Acro, Budokon, Anusara, and Bowspring-Sridaiva.
